Mariana Ferrá has presented her work done in the Alier Paper Company at the XXVI AEIPRO Congress

Mariana Ferrá has presented part of her Final Master's Project, carried out in the Alier paper mill, together with the CELBIOTECH group of the ESEIAAT, at the XXVI International Congress on Project Management and Engineering (AEIPRO) that has been held at the ESEIAAT in Terrassa from July 5 to 8, 2022.

This research is part of an R+D+i study guided at understanding the potential of recovered paper fibres, in collaboration with Alier paper mill (Rosselló, Lleida). The management of the selection, purchase and use of the raw material has been improved, since it establishes a characterization that groups them to achieve the maximum yield in fibre and better properties of the final product, with the consequent environmental benefit of minimizing the waste that goes to landfill.
