Turn The Page: New European Project designed to develop an overall strategy for the pulp and paper sector to attract and retain young people
Mar 08, 2022
The EU project “Turn the Page” (TTP) has been designed to develop an overall strategy for the pulp and paper sector to attract and retain young people and to boost and enhance their perception of the sector. The European pulp & paper industry is a green, highly innovative and increasingly digital sector, providing new generation solutions and technologies for our society. These as well as the many career opportunities the sector offers are not commonly known.
The Turn The Page project aims at filling this gap in providing communication tools and easily accessible information about the industry as such, about the many different jobs and educational opportunities. It addresses young people at all educational levels and enables first encounters/experiences with the industry. At stakeholder level, the project facilitates the collection and exchange of best practice examples in both recruitment and employment of young workers.
Turn The Page is managed by the Confederation of European Paper Industries (Cepi) and IndustriAll European Trade Union, together with the consulting company Spin360 as technical partner and country partners in Belgium, Finland Germany, Italy and Poland. Whilst focusing on the four countries in the project execution, the goal is to create transferable outcomes that can be used all across Europe.
